Working with numerous large companies, government agencies, and small businesses, I’ve adapted many interesting products, concepts, and policies into easily digestible animations that communicate the heart of each message. While I no longer teach regularly, I have quite a few years teaching experience which mirrors my ability to convey complex ideas to inexperienced audiences, discuss and present with strong communication skills, and handle various requirements, backgrounds, and characters simultaneously.
Taking most jobs through scripting, concept design, and final animation allows for great collaboration with clients and a thorough understanding of their needs.
The majority of my work involves animated infographics, text and character animation, or motiongraphics in general, however, I love teaching what I know and am always looking for further opportunities to do so. While passionate about teaching, I also have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and am currently studying Robotics Engineering and Computer Science part time.
I have a great feel for motion and character movement which translates into all animation styles, but also have an analytical nature which lends itself well to programming, interaction design, art direction and efficiency.
For the technically minded, the main programs I use are After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and 3D Studio Max.
I also have strong experience in Audition, Premiere Pro, Encore, and Lightwave 3D.
Some of the clients I’ve worked with include The United Nations, Department of Justice, KPMG, Mazda, Department of Transport, The Film Company, 21-19 and Morrison and Foerster (US).
